Practical riding lessons can be booked at the Customer Service Centre or through the Online Student portal.
Training is conducted at SSDC Woodlands Circuit, and each practical lesson lasts 100 minutes.
A minimum of 8 practical lessons is required. Students may be required to attend more than the minimum number of practical lessons required for the circuit and on-road training if the minimum standard has not been attained. On average, a student has to attend 15 sessions of practical lessons for the circuit training and 6 sessions of practical lessons for the on-road training.
The student must bring your student training record booklet for every practical lesson. A valid Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) must be produced for every practical lesson. Otherwise, no training will be conducted.
Students must complete the circuit and practical on-road assessment, attend all 7 theoretical lessons, and possess a valid Riding Theory test result slip and Provisional Driving Licence before they are allowed to book for the Traffic Police Practical Test.
