What is Safe Driving course (SDC)?

The SDC enhances the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) and is designed to educate motorists on safe driving techniques, correct dangerous driving behaviour and encourage good road habits. Eligible motorists will receive a letter of notification from Traffic Police inviting them to attend the SDC. Motorists who complete the SDC will have four (4) demerit points expunged from the motorists’ driving records.

Safe Driving Course is conducted in English only. Please enrol immediately upon receiving the Letter of offer from Traffic Police as you will have to complete it before the expiry date.

Terms and Conditions 

Course fees paid is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances whatsoever, regardless of whether the participant is affected by any unforeseen circumstances, including illness or on other medical grounds and emergencies.

Postponement, Withdrawal of course and Change of course date are strictly prohibited.

No refund of course fee if you did not complete or were absent from your course. Medical certificates will not be accepted as a reason for a change of course date or refund of the course fee.

You have to attend your theory lesson first, followed by a practical driving lesson. If you are absent or did not complete your course, you will need to get a notification letter from Traffic Police to enrol and pay for the full course fee again.

Course participants who are late will not be allowed to attend the course. It shall be treated as absent. Course participants must register and pay the full course fees again.

Singapore Safe Driving Centre Ltd and its employees will not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or death sustained in the course of my training.

SSDC reserves the right to make any amendments that are not stated herein whenever deemed necessary without prior notice. SDC students are not allowed to have multiple bookings at a different centre. If multiple bookings are found, there will be no refund.
