What are the documents required on the day of the driving test?

The following documents must be produced on the driving test date:

 

  • Singpass Digital IC / physical Singapore Identity Card or Passport
  • Singpass Digital IC / physical Valid Work Passes or Permit (for foreigners only)
  • Valid ePDL
  • Valid QDL, if any
  • Student Booklet

 

A duplicate Identity card or passport copy, including a temporary Identity Card replacement slip, will not be accepted. Foreigners must also produce their original employment pass/ immigration pass and passport.


You must be in proper attire. No slippers/ sandals are allowed during the practical test. Latecomers will not be allowed to attend the test. ALL fees paid will not be refunded. 

 

Pregnant learners must produce a doctor’s letter to certify that they can take on all aspects of the test on the day, which must be specified in the letter. Click here to find out more. 

 

Learners with visible injuries or disability must produce a doctor’s memo certifying that he/she is FIT for driving lessons, driving tests and including emergency brakes. (Important: exemption for any driving manoeuvres will not be considered)

 

Note: Failure to produce any of the documents mentioned and adhere to the requirements on the day of the test will disqualify the learner from taking the Traffic Police Practical Driving Test. ALL fees paid will not be refunded.
