Can I drive while waiting for the photo-card qualified driving licence (QDL)?

Yes. After passing your practical test, you are required to apply for QDL online. Fee is $50.00 payable by credit card. You’ll have to keep a copy of the acknowledgement slip for successful application of QDL as a temporary licence until you obtain your photo-card driving licence. Your photo card driving licence will be mailed to you via registered post within 7 working days.

Please note that if you do not apply and make successful payment for your QDL online, you will not be allowed to drive or ride. Do note that driving or riding without a valid driving licence is a serious offence and offenders will be prosecuted in Court.
