Foreigners (e.g. Work permit holders and S pass holders or EP Holders) applying for Class 4 or Class 5 PDL will need to apply in person at the Woodlands Test Centre (WTC) at SSDC level 1.
Day 1
Please bring the following documents for verification:
- Valid Class 3/ 3C/ 4 Singapore qualified driving licence
- Work permit, SP or EP
- Work permit & SP holders' occupation must show as Driver; no requirement for an EP holder
- Signed company letter showing that the staff is employed as heavy vehicle drivers by the company.
- Print out of Work pass status (scan the QR code at the back of the work pass)
- Vehicle log card (Class 5 only)
Once TP approved and endorsed on company letter, apply for Class 4 or Class 5 course at SSDC Customer Service Centre, level 3 and complete the eyesight test, if needed please bring along your spectacle.
Day 2
Return to WTC counter with Traffic Police endorsed company letter for application of PDL with payment of S$25; NETS or Cashcard payment mode is accepted.
Day 3
Apply for Class 4 or Class 5 course theory lesson, practical lessons & practical test at SSDC Customer Service Centre, level 3, with the following:
- Work permit, SP or EP
- For Class 4 course - Class 3/ 3C Singapore Driving Licence & Class 4 PDL
- For Class 5 course – Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence & Class 5 PDL
Payment mode available at Service Centre are Cash and Nets only.
